About Julian:
Julian Ugarte, is an industrial designer and Director and Founder of the Un Techo para mi Pais Innovation Center, the world’s largest social innovation organization, that partners university faculty and students with thousands of people who reside in slums.
Through creating business solutions for social problems, this center has positively impacted 80 million people in 18 different countries.
As a global leader in design-thinking methods, Julian has created a partnership with the Art Center College of Design, the world’s leading design educational institution. A number of his Innovation Center Fellows are faculty members at leading academic institutions, including Harvard, MIT, and Stanford University.
